The TRV 545 Carbine is a 5.56x45mm direct impinged gas-operated rifle. Both the upper and lower receiver are made from precision forged 7075-T6 aluminum, with the upper receiver benefiting from an extended M4 feed ramp. The 12”,14.5”, and 16” cold forged rifled barrels are made from high alloy chrome molybdenum steel which is heat treated for strength and endurance.
